Vervo Warehouse Grand Opening Events
This year marks a new chapter in Vervo’s development—beginning with the move to new office premises and culminating in the launch of Vervo Warehouse, the sixth company within the Vervo Group. To celebrate this significant milestone, two grand Vervo Warehouse opening events were held on May 8 and May 13 in our 3000 m² warehouse near Riga Airport.

At the grand opening event on May 8, more than 200 company representatives, colleagues, friends of the company, and cooperation partners gathered together.
A Fantastic Atmosphere Throughout the Evening
Guests were greeted with champagne by ringing a bell at the Magic Wall, where a hand appeared to serve a chilled glass. Nearby, a photographer invited guests to capture the moment in front of the Vervo Warehouse photo wall. Throughout the evening, Emil Deo ensured a lively and uplifting atmosphere. Prike served exquisite cocktails and held a gin masterclass led by world-class bartenders. DJ Kaspars Erminass provided musical entertainment and lighting, while H2O Catering delighted everyone with gourmet snacks and cake. Special thanks to Veho and Elite Cars for exhibiting their vehicles during the event. The highlight of the evening was the AG XTREME extreme motor show, performed by Andris Grīnfelds, which delivered a full range of emotions and even involved audience participation.
Official Ceremony and Ribbon-Cutting
The official part of the event was opened by Māris Dreimanis—co-owner and director of SIA Vervo and SIA Vervo Warehouse—who highlighted the company’s ambitious goals and continuous growth. He also shared the story of Vervo, from its very beginnings in 2008. Guntars Baurovskis, co-owner of Vervo Warehouse, also gave a speech and presented the full range of warehouse services offered to retailers and other businesses. A new chapter was symbolically marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Māris Dreimanis, Vervo’s Head of Development Andris Žīgurs, and Guntars Baurovskis and Lauris Baurovskis—co-owners of Vervo Warehouse.
Partner Presentations and Networking
The official part concluded with presentations by our partners and clients, who showcased their products and services. As a token of appreciation for their long-standing cooperation, we organized a small exhibition, giving guests the chance to explore the offerings of our collaborators. This was a great opportunity to interact in an informal setting and build new partnerships.
Vervo Warehouse Grand Opening on May 13
The Vervo Warehouse launch continued on May 13, when—for the second year—Vervo organized a hockey fan event for its employees and cooperation partners, including more than 70 transport companies. This event was dedicated to supporting the Latvian national hockey team during the 2025 Ice Hockey World Championship game against Slovenia.
Partnership and Interaction
SIA Vervo has always collaborated with both clients and partners, providing quality solutions while engaging in joint efforts with other transport companies. The services of Vervo Warehouse are intended not only for our direct clients but also for our cooperation partners—transport companies. During the event, Vervo employees interacted with transport companies, offering not only the chance to enjoy an exciting hockey match but also to strengthen professional relationships and establish new contacts.
A Hockey-Inspired Atmosphere
Guests were treated to delicious burgers provided by Oak'A Burgers, along with refreshing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beers. They also had the opportunity to participate in a prediction game, guessing the final score of the match and winning prizes sponsored by Oak’A BBQ.
Attendees arrived dressed in themed hockey jerseys and hats, and everyone was invited to have the Latvian red-white-red flag painted on their cheeks. Throughout the game, the crowd passionately supported the team—every accurate shot on the opponent’s goal was met with loud cheers and applause.
