Tallin Truck Show – visited by Vervo Auto too!

On Friday, August 5, this year's truck exhibition "Tallinn Truck Show" was opened at the Tallinn Song Festival Square. After the opening of the event, the visitors could see a demonstration of NATO's 30-meter-long twin-rotor transport helicopter "Chinook", which flew over the singing field. Five NATO military vehicles that are protecting Estonia could also be seen on the spot.

This is the largest heavy equipment exhibition in the Baltics and has been organized since 2015. It was also visited by Vervo Auto representative Aleksandrs Polivoda.

Metal "giants" from many European countries came to the largest exhibition of painted and "tuned" trucks in the region. Every truck was originally painted and customized. They can also be considered masterpieces that have been created and improved over many years. All of the vehicle owners are fully devoted to this hobby and most of them have invested many resources in upgrading their cars.

Visitors of the show could not only admire the cars from the outside but also take a look at the inside of the car and appreciate the original luxury interior. In addition, visitors could also watch extreme bike stunt shows and a truck rally. Also, Europe's best freestyle motocross and motorcycle riders gave their performances. On the second day of the event, the visitors had the opportunity to listen to the performance of the guitar legend Phil Campbell together with the band "The Bastard Sons".

Aleksandrs before had not participated in events like this, so this was a new experience. What he remembers the most is the NATO heavy truck, the long Finnish liquid carriers, as well as the army helicopter show. Alexander also took the opportunity not only to look at the unique trucks but also to see the heavy equipment from the inside - he tried to sit at the wheel of the NATO heavy equipment.

One of the most interesting trucks was an old American truck with a trailer, which had a cowboy-style bar inside. Another interesting car was an American pickup, which had a sauna built into it as an "extra".

Alexander believes that this was a very interesting and nice event not only for heavy equipment enthusiasts but also for families with children. Visitors could listen to a concert, watch a drift show, admire the unique airbrushed trucks, and finally have a delicious meal. Alexander hopes to visit the exhibition next year too, and he thinks that it is a great opportunity to get inspiration and gain new knowledge about trucks.

It is interesting that almost all the cars that participated in the exhibition are used on a daily basis for their direct duties. Of course, drivers enjoy driving self-made, visually improved cars, but maintaining a clean working environment is also an important aspect, and our drivers definitely follow that. When asked whether Alexander would like to participate in such an exhibition himself with his unique truck, Alexander answered positively, but it would require a lot of resources.
